Sean W. Lazarus, D.P.M., F.A.C.F.A.S.
Dr. Lazarus, a specialist in both podiatric medicine and podiatric
surgery, is a native of Johannesburg, South Africa. He graduated from
the New York College of Podiatric Medicine in 1993. Following his
degree, Dr. Lazarus began extensive training in hospitals affiliated with
the New York College of Podiatric Medicine from 1993 - 1994 where he
did a surgical residency. From 1994 - 1995 he was awarded a fellowship
in pediatric orthopedics and biomechanics where he gained extensive
knowledge of pediatric foot deformities and treatments. He became a
board certified foot surgeon in 2000. He is currently an attending
physician at Yale New Haven Hospital, Temple Surgical Center and
Hospital of St. Raphaels. Dr. Lazarus joined Center Podiatry in 1995 and
specializes in sports- medicine related injuries and pediatric
biomechanics. He also specializes in shockwave therapy for heel pain.
Dr. Lazarus has been an active member of the American Podiatric
Medical Association and the American College of Foot Surgeons for over
12 years.
